Possible 2011 Tour by The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra

PATRON
HRH PRINCESS ROYAL

The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra is thinking about performing at select engagements in the US in 2011.
As Blair Parham conductor of the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra says "We are looking in to the possibility of a tour of North Eastern USA in July of 2011 and are really writing to gauge the possible level of interest."
You can encourage them to perform near you by emailing tour@sfo.org.uk and listing your state and city as a possible venue for their tour.
Thank You!

"On The Day"
A Documentary Film

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND.

It’s the 2008 World Pipe Band Championships -- 8000 musicians from 16 countries. All on one day.

View the trailer

This year a new group joins the battle of the bands. Calling themselves The Spirit of Scotland, the world’s top solo players have come together for the first time to attempt the impossible: compete against legendary bands. What are their chances after just six days of practice? Will they even qualify?
In the end, all that matters is what happens on the day.

Mr. John McDonald , the producer of this extraordinary film,  is seeking donations to realize his dream of showing this film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June 2009.

Good luck John!
