Annalee's biography:
Jamey and I met through mutual friends at a bike race in Colorado. Soon after I moved to Colorado from Montana and started dating Jamey. We attended our first Highland games in Golden, Colorado, before being married.
I was born in 1961 and raised in Libby, Montana. I spent a year in Switzerland before attending the University of Montana. I graduated from there with a Bachelor of Arts. While attending the university, I spent a semester in Vienna studying German. Needless to say, the travel bug bit and after marring Jamey in 1988 we traveled extensively in Europe, Mexico and New Zealand, as well as the north and southwestern part of the United States.
I worked at a computer mapping firm as a supervisor, digitizing utility maps for the first seven years in Colorado, utilizing my Cartographer's degree. From there, I moved to the Southern Pacific railroad and worked in Customer Service for the next seven years, becoming Regional Director of the Pacific Northwest. After the Southern Pacific merged with the Union Pacific, I took a buy-out and we discussed starting a family. In 2001 our daughter Abigael was born. I am currently employed by Jefferson County and deliver mail for them. This job allows much more time for family and our ongoing interest in all things Scottish. I started researching Jamey’s genealogy several years ago, and we hope to travel to Scotland in 2012 when our daughter is 10 to complete some of our research.
