Clan Mackay New Tartan – Dress Mackay

Pictured above is our newest tartan,
the Dress Mackay. This beautiful tartan
was designed, and the sample woven, by the Reverend John B. Pahls, Jr. Clan
Mackay Society, USA member from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
We have begun the process of
recording the tartan with the Scottish Tartans Authority. Since we tried, but never received a
response, to have it approved by the Chief, The Lord Reay, we will be recording
it as an unofficial and a personal tartan of the Clan
Our hope is to generate enough
interest among members to have a batch woven and sold to members for kilts.
